Pennview Farm is located just outside Steinbach, Manitoba and is owned by Larry and Eleanor Penner. Our herd was previously comprised of 50 head of of milking cows classified 60% Very Good or better with an average BCA of 255-255-255 housed in a tie stall barn.

Larry took pride in the maternal line he developed primarily from a cow born in 1983, Pennview Citamatt Ideal VG-86 7*. Ideal is the foundation for what the industry knows as the “I” family. Over 85% of the milking herd at Pennview are descendents of the “I” family. Bulls such as Pennview Instamatic, Pennview Income, Pennview Icepack, Pennview LLH Image and Pennview Intruder have made their mark in the past many years. Pennview Rudolph India EX-90 16*, the dam of Instamatic, Icepack, Image and Intruder has demonstrated her strong breeding pattern with many daughters contracted for AI and embryos. India, truly one of our foundation cows was nominated twice for cow of the year in 2006 and 2008 and is backed by 41* in her pedigree.
